Dr. Yim was invited to a two-part YouTube series on early English education and children’s language development. In Part 1, she discussed common misconceptions about English kindergarten, the possible risks of excessive pressure, and how parents can support English learning without creating resistance. In Part 2, she further emphasized that the most important foundation for children’s language development is rich, high-quality communication in the language parents can use most naturally. The series highlighted how parents can nurture children’s language sense, thinking skills, and communication abilities through meaningful everyday interaction rather than forced early English exposure.
